- pywrdrb.post.metrics.get_ensemble_hashimoto_metrics(major_flows, mrf_targets, model, node, lower_basin_mrf_contributions=None)#
Calculate ensemble reliability and vulnerability metrics.
Uses the Hashimoto (1982) definitions of reliability and vulnerability for streamflow time series compared to MRF targets. Special handling is added for delTrenton.
- Parameters:
major_flows (dict) – Dictionary of simulated flows for each model and realization.
mrf_targets (dict) – Dictionary of MRF targets for each model and realization.
model (str) – Model key to evaluate.
node (str) – Node name for which metrics are calculated.
lower_basin_mrf_contributions (dict, optional) – Dictionary of additional flow contributions (e.g., Blue Marsh).
- Returns:
reliability (np.ndarray) – Array of reliability values for each realization.
vulnerability (np.ndarray) – Array of vulnerability values for each realization.
Notes
Required for validation of reliability objectives at key regulatory nodes.
